The 74th Republic Day was celebrated on the 26th January on the premises of DSE, Attapur, with the fragrance of patriotic fervor. The patriotic zest began with the Principal of the school unfurling the flag with the Management, teacher and student fraternity saluting it.
The true fervour was experienced when the National Anthem was being sung in unison, reminding everyone about the idea of unity and diversity.
While the country celebrated the day of installation of the Constitution at the Kartavya Path, DSE celebrated it with the future citizens of the country, enlightening them about the sacrifices of the martyrs, the fundamental Duties and fundamental Rights as responsible citizens of India on its grounds.
The short program was a fusion of patriotic, cultural and emotional aspects that showcased the role plays of the great patriots like Bhagat Singh and our beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi by whom Panch Pran of Amrit Kaal were reminded and exhorted. The event promoted the zeal to uphold one’s integrity towards one’s Motherland.
The little Deesians correlated the fundamental Rights and Duties to their classroom situation that brought about the real understanding of the Constitution, through the skit.
The country’s diversity was well portrayed through presentations like skit, mime, soulful renditions, dances that compelled each and every individual to pledge, to contribute, to the progress of the nation while fulfilling their responsibilities.
The Principal, Mr. Augustine Thomas in his message, encouraged the children to embrace the differences among the individuals while standing and celebrating the country’s unity.
