First Inter DSE BasketBall Tournament 2022-23

The 1st Inter-DSE Basketball Tournament 2022 was held in Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills on 29th October, 2022. The tournament was played with the motto ‘Sports make our life interesting and ignites our soul’. The tournament commenced with a warm welcome of the dignitaries Secretary DSE Group of Institutions Ms Rama Devi, Academic Director Ms Shashi, Principal MsVeena Murthy, Headmistress Ms Anasuya, and Coordinator Ms Kavita by Coordinator Ms Rimpa. She also welcomed the external referees for the tournament Mr S Y Lalith and Mr Prashant, the participants and the coaches of DSE Attapur and Manikonda. The matches played both by the boys’ and girls’ teams displayed agility, great team work and dribbling skills. The excitement and support shown by the cheering students for their respective teams brought in an air of exuberance and transformed the school into an atmosphere of sports arena. Team Banjara lifted the coveted trophy in both the boys’ and girls’ sections. The victory was a stupendous achievement due to the excellent training by the Sports Coordinator Mr. Vijender.The other teams also put up a spirited performance and gave tough competition. Team Attapur were the runners up in the boy’s section and Team Attapur and Manikonda were declared the joint runners up in the girls’ section. Academic Director Ms Shashi congratulated the winners and appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the other two teams. The glittering golden coloured trophies awarded to the winning DSE Banjara girls’ and boys’ teams evoked a thunderous applause from everyone.
