ESPERANZA-Spectacular Sports Day-2024-25

Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills celebrated Sports Day – Esperanza in a spectacular manner on 8th January, 2025 in G M C Balayogi Stadium Gachibowli. The motto was ‘Igniting Hope, Fuelling Ambition which truly reflected the grandeur and magnificent performances put up by the students of Pre-Primary to Grade X. The eye-catching mascot – Aspira, a unicorn symbolized the soaring ambition and spirit of the event. The Sports Day commenced with the welcoming of the Chief Guest Rear Admiral R Vishwanathan (Retd) and other dignitaries Chairperson Ms Shilpa Ravi, Secretary Ms Rama Devi, Academic Director Ms Shashikala, Administrator DSE Attapur Ms Reshmi, Principal Ms Bharti, Headmistress Ms Anasuya, Principals, Vice Principal, Headmistresses and Coordinators of sister concerns, parents, teachers and students. The unveiling of the mascot evoked thunderous applause. The Invocation performed gracefully gave a mesmerizing start to the event. The rendition of melodious songs, drills, dances and band by the students in their colourful and resplendent costumes, accompanied by the beautiful accessories and props elevated the performances to great heights. The felicitation of toppers of the AISSE – 2023-24 made the parents immensely proud of their achievement. The audience cheered the students in races that were not only creative and entertaining using innovative props but also highly competitive. The Annual Report by Ms Bharti gave a comprehensive account of the new initiatives, awards and activities of the school in the current academic year. The announcements of the Overall and Sports trophies bagged by Trojans house, the Cultural Trophy by Samurai house and the Best Marching house trophy by Spartans house were met with bated anticipation. The parents were highly appreciative of the performances of their wards and the meticulous planning by the school in organizing the event.
