On 14th September, Hindi Diwas is celebrated every year to mark the adoption of Hindi as the country’s official language by the Constituent Assembly in 1949. In a special assembly program in Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills the students of Pre-Primary to Grade X presented cultural programs to highlight the importance of the Hindi language in India. They recited poems bringing to the fore the beauty of the language and its relevance as it is the most spoken language in the country. The poems, songs, Nukkad Natak, and the dance performances also showcased patriotism, the diversity in our art and culture and the richness of the language. The Ad mad performance was quite humorous and thoroughly enjoyable. Costumes and props were used to make the program interesting and engaging.
