Parent Orientation Program for the parents of Grades III– VIII was conducted in Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills on 15th June, 2024 with this in mind. The program started with a video showcasing the vision of the school in ensuring the holistic development of students in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas. The video gave a sneak peak about the facilities made available to the students such as computer lab, Math and Science labs, etc. The key management members, Coordinators, HODs and HRTs were introduced to the parents. Principal Ms Bharti gave tips and suggestions to the parents about inculcating good habits among their wards such as reading, timely completion of assignments independently, coping with stress and emotions, etc. Ms Anasuya, Headmistress and Coordinator for Grades VI – VIII spoke about personal development skills, and apprised the parents about essential agreements for students such as discipline, grooming of students, regular attendance, punctuality in timings and submission of assignments, etc. She also spoke about the cycle tests, periodic tests and the evaluation pattern, Homework schedule, Skill assessments, WTR, Inter-House Competitions; and snapshot of report cards. Ms Lateef apprised the parents about the process of using E-Library and its many benefits. Ms. Sharada, IT faculty gave detailed information about the various aspects and benefits of the parent app. Ms Anasuya answered the queries raised by the parents.
