Parent Orientation – Grades IX & X

Communication is key in increasing parent’s understanding of, and ability to manage their child’s behaviour in academics and social development. Parent Orientation Program for the parents of Grades IX & X was conducted in Delhi School of Excellence, Banjara Hills on 10th June, 2024 with this in mind. The program started with a video showcasing the vision of the school in ensuring the holistic development of students in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas. The video gave a sneak peak about the facilities made available to the students such as computer lab, Math and Science labs, etc. The key management members, Coordinators, and HODs were introduced to the parents. Principal Ms Bharti apprised the parents about the various essential agreements such as discipline, grooming of students, maintaining regular timings of students, bell timings, and dispersal timing etc. She also spoke about the necessity for parents to regularly monitor their wards for homework, project completion and revision schedule. Information regarding the cycle test and periodic tests along with the various assessments was also given. IT HOD Ms Sangeetha gave a detailed information about the various aspects and benefits of parent app. Ms Bahrti answered the queries raised by the parents..
