On the occasion of Teachers’ Day in Delhi School of Excellence on 5th September, 2022, there was an atmosphere of celebration, music, dance and color in the atmosphere. The three branches of DSE came together as one big family to mark another year of acknowledging and recognizing the contributions of the teachers in shaping students and their future. The theme of Teachers’ Day Celebrations was ‘Manobhav – Expressions of Life’. The dignitaries – Ms. Shilpa, Chairperson DSE Group of Institutions, Ms. Rama Devi Secretary DSE Group of Institutions, Academic Director Ms. Shashikala, Principals, Vice Principal, and Headmistresses of three branches were heartily welcomed. The program started with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, followed by the perfectly synchronized and gracefully performed invocation dance titled ‘Roots of Existence’. Rich tributes were paid to the revered academic and the second President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhkrishnan on whose birth anniversary Teachers’ Day is celebrated and the late Chairman Sri Madhusudhan Rao Garu, reminiscing about his unforgettable contributions in the field of education and philanthropic gestures towards the wellbeing of society. His passion for music was also fondly remembered. The dignitaries in their speeches spoke about the journey of the school in successfully completing ten years. They also congratulated and appreciated the teachers for their efforts in moulding the students in all aspects. The highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of the principals of DSE Attapur and Manikonda as well as the Headmistresses of DSE Banjara Hills and Manikonda on the completion of ten years of service. Along with them, the coordinators and other teachers were also felicitated on the completion of ten years and five years of service in DSE. In DSE Banjara Hills, Headmistress Ms. Anasuya, Coordinator Ms. Kavita, Mr. Madan Kumar and Mr. Srinivas from Admin Team were felicitated for completing ten years of service and Mr. Mohan, Ms. Sree Pranathi, Ms. Pooja Bhargava, Ms. Samyuktha, and Ms. Lavanya for completing five years of service. The colourful and entertaining programs were performed by the teachers and admin teams of the three branches that included dances, songs and humourous skits based on the Nava Rasas. The program ended with a vote of thanks. The teachers enjoyed a delicious and sumptuous lunch organized by the school.
