The International Yoga Day celebration at Delhi School of Excellence, Manikonda was a resounding success, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of students, teachers and grandparents – who were the special guests for the day!
The day commenced with a special morning assembly dedicated to yoga, which began with a brief introduction on the significance of International Yoga Day and the benefits of yoga for physical and mental well-being. To cater to the diverse interests and abilities of the students, various yoga activities were organized by our Yoga Instructor Ms. Joby Veliyil Joy, across different grade levels. The younger students demonstrated various advanced yoga asanas while the seniors had the opportunity to meditate in their classrooms. This inclusive approach ensured that every student was actively engaged in the celebration.
The event served as a reminder of the importance of self-care, mental well-being, and finding inner balance amidst the challenges of life.
