Teachers’ Day Celebrations– Indradhanush

Teachers’ Day Celebration at Delhi School of Excellence, ushered in the splendour of bright hues of the rainbow – Indradhanush on 5th September, 2024. The program presented by the three branches of DSE witnessed varied performances that ranged from songs, dance, music, drama, art – all showcasing creativity, filled with fun, entertainment and humour in good measure. The felicitation of teachers who completed five years was the highlight of the program. Ms Gayathri, Ms Vandana, Mr LN Reddy, Ms Joby, Ms Mrudula, Ms Sumathi and Ms Beaulah were felicitated on the occasion. The teachers sang a medley of popular songs that included songs in Hindi, Telugu, English, Malayalam, etc. The artistic depiction on canvas, that reflected the ideas in the songs and the different regions in India, took the breath of the audience away. The humourous skits and the robust dances kept the mood of the teachers in high spirits and evoked much appreciation from the audience. Chairperson Ms Shilpa Ravi and other dignitaries appreciated the teachers for their dedication and zeal in shaping the young minds. They said that a teacher is an embodiment of the patience of a saint, creativity of an artist and tact of a diplomat. A sumptuous meal after the program satiated the happy teachers.
